EA Kennedy was the first artist to complete a residency at Wade’s House. Utilizing the then-unfinished home as both her artist’s studio and her canvas, she lovingly created beautiful Venetian plaster walls, spending hundreds of hours layering her good intentions and well wishes for the home.
EA brought to life Talley’s vision of a river of sunstone into a permanent installation piece featuring raw sunstones that Wade himself had harvested from the Woodmark family’s Ponderosa Mine. She stayed several months at Wade’s House II, spending countless hours walking trails along the ocean gathering natural materials for her “The Tide Giveth” I and II series.
