My art style is balanced, finelydetailed, and symbolic, witha focus on movement and thehuman body. The placement oflines in each composition is ofutmost importance; my process ishighly emotional.
This project inspired me toundertake a detailed selfreflection of my early childhood.I revisited many old memories,highlighting specific elementson my pony. A large portion ofthe imagery is closely linked tothe bond with my family andspecial people who have passedaway; I love them dearly. It waschallenging to apply my art style,but I worked with the curvatureof the horse and the line workjust flowed with it. Each linehas its place. I feel very positiveabout the final outcome. I choseto leave my pony black and whiteto honor my artistic process,allowing the viewer to focus onmy composition.
